The Amble - Natural as Nature Indeed | |||||
| |||||
Helpful HintsThe Amble consists of five areas stretching from the
outskirts of Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal's premier
city, to the historical town of Greytown and beyond. The
link between all the parts of the Amble are the hospitality
of the people and the stunning scenery, all of which is
truly African, including the symbol of the Amble, the voice
of Africa, the magnificent Fish Eagle, whose haunting cry
is often heard. ClimateAll of the Amble has a wonderfully mild climate with summer rainfall and dry winters. The whole area is malaria free, making it perfectly safe to travel and relax in at all times of the year. Although generally predictable, spring and summer can present surprises and it is advisable to carry a set of warm clothes and an all-weather jacket.
